Bohemia Healing Mineral Waters CZ a.s.1 company

Is the produced of mineral waters the distribution of which covers the entire territory of the Czech Republic. The products of the company constitute a unique combination of qualities of table water and the healing effects thereof. The company is seated in Bílina municipality, in Teplice district, and features a complex of buildings comprising the ancient central administration building, production premises, storage facilities, and a rail siding. Part of the premises is a plot of land with wells of Zaječice bitter water, situated within a twenty-kilometre distance in Zaječice, in the vicinity of Bečov municipality, district Most. At the moment, the company produces three brands of mineral water.

The Company´s major product is Bílina acidulous water (Bílinská kyselka) – a mineral water boasting a long tradition stretching as far back as the 16th century. While in 1761 the first jugs started to be filled with the water, two decades later (1781), the first filling shop was built with 9,000 plus jugs being dispatched. In 1858, volumes of Bílinská kyselka dispatched had equalled 250,000 jugs. The popularity of the water was at its record high in the era of socialism when – owing to its healing effects – it was distributed on a mass scale throughout the territory of the country. The Company´s second product is Zaječická bitter water, i.e. a healing mineral water well known for its positive curative effects, and hence recommended by myriads of physicians.

The product lines of Bílina carbonated natural water or of lemon, orange and/or apple flavoured water product with mineral salts added, are intended for everyday drinking whilst providing the body with vital elements such as calcium and magnesium.
